Allow me to introduce you to Me Marie-Livia Beaugé, an eminent figure in the legal field, whose career illustrates a passionate commitment to justice and equality. A law graduate from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Me Beaugé also enriched her academic background with a certificate in criminology in 2013, followed by a certificate in law in 2014, and more recently a certificate in victimology in 2020.
A member of the Order of Quebec since 2019, Me Beaugé has not only built her own legal practice, she has also inspired positive change in the community. As founder of the Clinique juridique de Montréal-Nord, she has demonstrated her unwavering commitment to providing equitable access to justice.
From the outset of his career, Me Beaugé has resolutely focused his energies on alternative justice. Convinced that solutions do not lie in incarceration or convictions, she tackles the deep roots that drive someone to commit a crime. For her, no one is born a criminal, and crime is more a social problem than a strictly criminal one.
